La Cocina Restaurant in Javea good for Vegetarians A popular 3 course for 15 euros menu. Always comforting to be able to see the kitchen working away while you are dining and this kitchen is certainly on view. Again, a restaurant offering meat, fish as well as vegetarian choices. Amongst those vegetarian dishes that have been served here are roulade of aubergine, celery, onions, breadcrumbs and parsley with a cumin velouté and a Murcian casserole of cannellini beans, chickpeas, pear, pumpkin, tomatoes and saffron, both served with perfectly cooked fresh vegetables. There is a great selection of wines and many are available by the glass.

This Al Giardino Javeais set in a Garden with the Villa being the Bar and Kitchen. It looks great.  Some people love this place. The food is good. Sometimes the service is good. Mushroom Lasgana, Pizzas however you want, and quite a flexible attitude from the Maitre D' should see you alright.

And the setting is lovely - tho wear insect repellent - you have been warned!

Directions: Either: drive past the tennis club towards the Mercadona, past Barclays, turn right, follow the road for 2 km and you're there - or head out of town as if going to the airport.
